Inclusion Ready

Evaluating a state-wide strategy to make the community accessible and welcoming for people with disabilities

Outpost Consulting was commissioned to evaluate a three-year project designed to make Queensland communities more welcoming and inclusive.  ‘Inclusion Ready’ was a package of 20-plus distinct projects running in individual communities and state-wide.

Working with Rachel Healy Consulting, we embedded ourselves within the project team to ensure relevant data was being collected by each of the project leads.  Regular check-ins with the project manager ensured the project stayed focussed on its outcomes, while building on opportunities that emerged.  The result was a successful project which led to many new and diverse organisations committing to inclusive practice.
