Evaluating the All Abilities JobMatch project
Queenslanders with Disability Network (QDN) commissioned Outpost Consulting to evaluate All Abilities JobMatch, a project aimed to improve employment opportunities for people with disability in Queensland’s community services industry.
Co-designed with people with disability, the project paired employers with Inclusion Consultants who brought lived and professional expertise of disability, while jobseekers with disability completed internships of at least 12 weeks. A community of practice helped employers champion broader industry change.
We co-designed the evaluation framework with people with disability, ensuring success was measured in ways that mattered to them. We evaluated each of the project’s three phases between 2024 and 2026, drawing on interviews and focus groups with employers, interns, Inclusion Consultants and project partners. Our findings were used to refine the program before each rollout, so the project grew stronger with every phase and built employer confidence and capacity to employ people with disability.
